Now in Testing: The ACRD10 for the AR-10 Platform
The ACRD10 is in active testing — and early results are promising. It brings the same drop-in cam reset design behind the ACRD15 to the larger AR-10 platform, and we’re targeting a launch window of roughly a month from now, pending the completion of testing.
What it is
The ACRD10 is the AR-10 counterpart to our ACRD15. Same core idea, scaled and re-engineered for the AR-10’s geometry: a drop-in module that installs into a standard AR-10 lower with no machining, no filing, and no fitting. Your existing fire control group stays in the rifle — the ACRD10 works alongside it rather than replacing it.
Like the ACRD15, it reads the rifle’s cycle off the bolt carrier and mechanically resets the trigger as the carrier travels. One trigger pull, one round — the reset is driven by geometry, not by the shooter’s reaction time.
Built on a proven design
The ACRD15 was built around one question: what’s the smallest, simplest mechanism that runs reliably across standard lowers without anyone touching a file — and without making the customer tear out their existing fire control group? The ACRD10 carries that same design language to the AR-10. The goal is a true drop-in: if your AR-10 was running before, it runs with the ACRD10 in it after, with no permanent alteration to the rifle.
Every unit will be CNC-produced and dimensionally inspected before it ships — the same standard we hold every VoidSpec part to. If it goes out the door with our name on it, it’s been measured.
Where testing stands
The ACRD10 is on the bench and at the range right now. Early function and reliability testing has been encouraging, and we’re working through the validation that has to happen before a part like this carries our name. We don’t rush this step — a fire control component either runs reliably across real builds or it doesn’t ship.
Assuming testing continues on its current track, we’re targeting availability within about a month. We’ll post firm launch details, final specifications, and pricing here as soon as they’re locked.
In the meantime — the ACRD15 is shipping now
If you’re running an AR-15 and don’t want to wait, the ACRD15 is available today. It’s the same proven drop-in cam reset design the ACRD10 is built on, ready to install in a standard AR-15 lower with no machining required.

A note on responsibility
The ACRD10, like the ACRD15 before it, falls into the broader category of active reset trigger components. Active reset and similar rapid-cycling trigger systems have been the subject of ongoing federal and state legal action; the regulatory status has shifted multiple times in recent years and continues to evolve. Several states restrict or prohibit these systems outright.
