Refund & Return Policy
Effective Date: May 11, 2026
Last Updated: May 11, 2026
This Refund and Return Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases from VoidSpec LLC (“VoidSpec,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order through our website, by phone, or by any other channel, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy in its entirety. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, do not complete your purchase.
1. All Sales Are Final
All sales of VoidSpec products are final. VoidSpec does not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for buyer’s remorse, incorrect product selection, change of mind, ordering the wrong part, ordering before researching compatibility, dissatisfaction with the appearance or feel of a product, dissatisfaction with shipping speed within stated timelines, or any reason other than the specific, narrowly defined exceptions stated in Sections 4 and 5 below.
The “final sale” nature of every transaction is disclosed clearly on every product page, at checkout, and in this Policy. Completion of an order constitutes your express acknowledgment and acceptance of this term.
2. Pre-Purchase Customer Responsibilities
Before placing an order, you are solely responsible for:
- Verifying compatibility between the product and your specific firearm, build, or configuration. Compatibility information provided on product pages is general guidance, not a guarantee of fit for non-standard or modified platforms. If you are uncertain whether a product fits your configuration, you must contact us in writing before placing your order. Orders placed without verifying compatibility are not eligible for return or refund based on fitment.
- Verifying legality of the product in your federal, state, county, and municipal jurisdiction. Laws governing firearm parts and accessories vary significantly and change frequently. VoidSpec does not provide legal advice. Orders that cannot be lawfully delivered to your address, or that you cannot lawfully possess once received, are your responsibility and are not eligible for refund.
- Providing a complete, accurate shipping address at the time of order. Orders shipped to addresses provided by the Customer are deemed correctly delivered when the carrier confirms delivery to that address, regardless of whether the Customer entered the address in error.
- Confirming that you meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years (21 in jurisdictions where applicable) and are legally permitted to purchase firearm parts and accessories.
- Reading all product descriptions, specifications, and warnings on the product page in their entirety before completing your purchase.
3. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled in writing only, by email to customerservice@voidspec.com, and only under the following conditions:
- Before fulfillment: If a cancellation request is received and acknowledged in writing by VoidSpec before a shipping label has been generated and before the product has entered the production or pick-pack queue, the order may be cancelled and refunded in full, less any non-refundable payment processing fees passed through to us by our payment processor.
- After label generation but before shipment: A restocking fee of 25% of the product subtotal applies. Any shipping charges already incurred are non-refundable.
- After shipment: Orders cannot be cancelled once a tracking number has been generated and the package has been tendered to the carrier. The order must be received by the Customer and, if eligible, processed under the defect provisions in Section 4 or 5 below.
VoidSpec is not obligated to honor cancellation requests received via social media, voicemail, third-party messaging platforms, or any channel other than the email address designated above. Verbal cancellation requests are not binding.
4. Manufacturing Defects
VoidSpec stands behind the quality of its products. If a product arrives with a verifiable manufacturing defect that prevents normal function, you may be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund — at VoidSpec’s sole discretion — subject to all of the following requirements:
4.1 Notification Window
You must notify VoidSpec in writing of the alleged defect within seventy-two (72) hours of the date the carrier confirms delivery of the package to the shipping address provided at order. Notifications received outside this window will not be considered, regardless of the reason for delay.
4.2 Required Evidence
Your written notification must include all of the following. Incomplete submissions will not be processed:
- Order number and full name on the order
- Clear, well-lit photographs of the product showing the alleged defect from at least three (3) angles
- A photograph of the product alongside its original packaging and any included documentation
- A written description of the defect, including when it was first observed
- If the defect was discovered during installation or use: a description of the installation procedure followed and the platform the product was installed in
- Video evidence is required if the alleged defect is functional in nature (e.g., the product cycles improperly, the mechanism does not reset). Static photographs alone are insufficient for functional defect claims.
4.3 RMA Authorization Required
Do not ship any product back to VoidSpec without a written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by VoidSpec via email. Products returned without a valid RMA number will be refused at the carrier and returned to sender at the Customer’s expense, or, if delivery is accepted, will be held without action for thirty (30) days and then disposed of.
4.4 Inspection and Determination
Upon receipt of a properly RMA-authorized return, VoidSpec will inspect the product within ten (10) business days. VoidSpec, in its sole discretion, will determine whether the alleged defect (a) exists, (b) is the result of a manufacturing or assembly issue attributable to VoidSpec, and (c) is not the result of normal wear, customer-induced damage, improper installation, modification, misuse, use with incompatible components, or external factors. VoidSpec’s determination is final.
4.5 Remedy
If VoidSpec determines a covered manufacturing defect exists, VoidSpec will, at its sole option:
- Repair the product and return it to the Customer (return shipping at VoidSpec’s expense), or
- Replace the product with a new or refurbished equivalent unit, or
- Issue a refund of the original product purchase price (excluding original shipping, handling, taxes, and any third-party fees) to the original payment method.
If VoidSpec determines no covered defect exists, the product will be returned to the Customer at the Customer’s expense, or, at the Customer’s written election, held at VoidSpec for repair at the Customer’s expense pursuant to a separate written estimate.
4.6 Shipping for Returns
The Customer is responsible for outbound shipping to VoidSpec on all return shipments, including those later determined to be covered defects. VoidSpec recommends shipping returns with tracking and insurance; VoidSpec is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to our facility. Return shipping fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
5. Shipping Damage and Lost Packages
5.1 Damage in Transit
Inspect every shipment immediately upon delivery. If the outer packaging shows visible damage at the time of delivery, photograph the package before opening it and refuse delivery if possible, or note the damage with the carrier at the point of delivery.
Claims for damage in transit must be reported to VoidSpec in writing within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery and must include photographs of (a) the outer shipping packaging, (b) the inner packaging, (c) the product itself, and (d) any carrier damage notations. Damage in transit is a matter between the Customer and the carrier; VoidSpec will assist the Customer in filing a carrier claim but is not liable for damage occurring after the package is tendered to the carrier.
5.2 Lost in Transit
Risk of loss transfers to the Customer when the package is tendered to the carrier. Packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier are deemed delivered for purposes of this Policy, even if the Customer reports non-receipt. Disputed delivery claims must be:
- Reported in writing within seven (7) days of the carrier’s marked delivery date
- Accompanied by a police report filed with the local jurisdiction of the delivery address documenting the alleged theft or non-delivery
- Subject to a carrier investigation initiated by VoidSpec
VoidSpec will reship or refund lost packages only after (a) the carrier officially declares the package lost following its internal investigation, and (b) the Customer has cooperated fully with the investigation including providing any documentation requested by the carrier. Shipments to addresses where the Customer has a documented history of non-receipt claims may be required to ship with signature confirmation at the Customer’s expense.
5.3 Signature Confirmation
Orders with a subtotal of [$500] or greater ship with signature required at delivery at no additional charge. Signature confirmation may also be added to lower-value orders at the Customer’s request and expense. Carrier-confirmed signature delivery is conclusive evidence of receipt for purposes of this Policy and for any payment dispute.
5.4 Refused Delivery and Address Errors
If a package is returned to VoidSpec because the Customer refused delivery, provided an incorrect or undeliverable address, failed to retrieve the package from a carrier hold facility, or failed to be present for required signature delivery, the Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, and a restocking fee of 25% applies. Any reshipment is at the Customer’s expense.
6. Products Not Eligible for Return Under Any Circumstance
The following are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstance, including in the event of an alleged defect:
- Products that have been installed in any firearm, regardless of whether the installation was successful or whether the product was fired
- Products that have been modified, altered, refinished, polished, machined, or tampered with in any way
- Products showing signs of use, including but not limited to scratches consistent with installation tooling, wear marks on contact surfaces, or evidence of dry firing
- Products where serial numbers, lot numbers, or VoidSpec markings have been removed, defaced, or altered
- Products purchased through closeout, clearance, or designated “final sale” promotions
- Custom, made-to-order, or specially configured products
- Products held by the Customer for more than thirty (30) days from delivery, regardless of installation status
This exclusion exists for reasons of product safety, regulatory compliance, and liability. Once a firearm part has left our quality control chain and entered any installation environment, VoidSpec cannot verify the conditions of its handling and cannot resell or warranty the part to any subsequent owner.
7. Refunds
When a refund is approved under this Policy:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. No cash refunds, no refunds to alternate cards or accounts, no store credit conversions without written request and approval.
- Refunds are processed within ten (10) business days of approval. Settlement to the Customer’s account is subject to the Customer’s bank or card issuer’s posting timelines, which are outside VoidSpec’s control.
- Refunds cover the product purchase price only. Original shipping, handling, return shipping, signature fees, insurance, taxes, payment processing fees, and any other charges are non-refundable.
- Partial refunds may be issued at VoidSpec’s discretion in cases where a product is returned in less than original condition but is still substantially as sold.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
VoidSpec takes payment disputes seriously. By placing an order, you agree to the following:
- Contact VoidSpec first. If you have any concern with your order, you agree to contact VoidSpec in writing and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter under this Policy before initiating any chargeback, payment dispute, or claim with your card issuer, bank, or payment processor.
- Bypassing this Policy. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first exhausting the procedures in this Policy is a material breach of the purchase agreement. VoidSpec reserves the right to contest such chargebacks and to recover all associated costs, including representment fees, chargeback fees, legal fees, and collection costs, from the Customer.
- Evidence retention. You acknowledge that VoidSpec retains records of your order, including IP address, timestamp of order, AVS and CVV verification results, communication history, fulfillment records, carrier tracking and delivery confirmation, and signed delivery confirmation where applicable, and that these records may be submitted to your card issuer, bank, payment processor, or any arbitrator in defense of any disputed transaction.
- Fraudulent disputes. Chargebacks filed in bad faith, including disputes filed after delivery has been confirmed and no defect has been reported, disputes claiming non-receipt where delivery is confirmed, and disputes filed by Customers who have used or installed the product, will be vigorously contested.
- Account restriction. Customers who initiate chargebacks without first contacting VoidSpec, or who initiate chargebacks determined by VoidSpec or the payment processor to be fraudulent or unwarranted, may be permanently restricted from future purchases.
9. Compliance and Customer Acknowledgments
By completing a purchase from VoidSpec, you affirm and warrant that:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age, or twenty-one (21) where required by applicable law
- You are not prohibited under federal, state, or local law from possessing the products you are purchasing
- You are purchasing the products for lawful purposes only
- You will install and use the products in accordance with all applicable laws and with reasonable care, by qualified persons
- You assume all risk associated with the installation, modification, and use of firearm parts and accessories
- You have read this Policy in full and agree to its terms
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoidSpec’s total cumulative liability arising from or related to any product purchased, including but not limited to claims for refund, replacement, damages, or any consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages, is limited to the original purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim. VoidSpec is not liable for damages caused by improper installation, use with incompatible components, modification of the product, use in violation of law, or use beyond the product’s intended scope.
11. Force Majeure
VoidSpec is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, carrier failures, labor disputes, regulatory actions, pandemic-related restrictions, or interruptions in third-party services (including payment processors and shipping carriers). Shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.
12. Governing Law, Venue, and Dispute Resolution
This Policy and all transactions with VoidSpec are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to a purchase from VoidSpec that is not resolved under this Policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming, and the Customer consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
At VoidSpec’s election, any dispute may instead be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with arbitration to take place in Laramie County, Wyoming. The Customer waives any right to participate in a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding against VoidSpec.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Updates to This Policy
VoidSpec may update this Policy at any time. The Policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Continued use of our website or placement of new orders constitutes acceptance of the then-current Policy.
