Description
Geissele Over-Travel Device
A precision clip-on built to run the ACRD15 with a Geissele fire control group. It adds a controlled stop to the rear of the hammer, limiting forward over-travel so the ACRD15 resets clean and consistent in an AR-15.
Why You Need It
The ACRD15 drives a hard, positive reset off the rifle’s own cycling — but a Geissele trigger’s hammer can travel further forward than the reset geometry wants, and that extra travel throws off the timing the ACRD15 depends on. This device closes that gap. It sets a hard forward limit at the rear of the hammer, so the ACRD15 and a Geissele trigger work together exactly as intended — every shot, no drift. If you’re running a Geissele FCG and want the ACRD15, this is the part that makes the pairing right.
Installs In Seconds
Slide it over the hammer and you’re done. No tools, no filing, no fitting, no permanent modification — and it comes back off just as easily.
The Material
Printed in PA6CF — carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon, an engineering-grade filament chosen for this job: stiff and dimensionally stable, heat-tolerant for the fire-control environment, and a polymer-on-steel interface that won’t mar your hammer. Light, precise, and field-replaceable — if it ever wears, it slides off and a fresh one slides on.
Compatibility: Built for Geissele fire control groups running the ACRD15. Also compatible with a Super Safety lever.
